Namataan ang Bagyong Egay sa 500km silangan ng Baler Aurora. May taglay na lakas ng hangin na nasa 155 km/h malapit sa gitna at ang bugso na nasa 190 km/h at ang kumikilos pa-North Northwest sa bilis ng 10 km/h.
Nakataas ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal #2 sa Catanduanes, eastern portion of Albay, northern portion of Camarines Norte, eastern portion of Camarines Sur, Isabela, northern and central portions of Aurora, Quirino, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Apayao, Kalinga, central and eastern portions of Mountain Province, eastern portion of Nueva Vizcaya, eastern portion of Ifugao, Central and Eastern portions of Abra, Ilocos Norte and Batanes at Northeastern portion of Northern Samar.
