After 32 years, one of the country's leading cable providers Sky Cable is set to bid farewell next month.
In their Facebook page, Sky Cable announced that they will be shutting down their cable services on February 26 at 11:59PM.

This comes after the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) approved the 100% buy-out of PLDT Inc. in Sky Cable's assets.
The said cable provider also gave their loyal subscribers a list of other cable companies that they can subscribe upon.

But they reiterated that they will still continue their broadband services.

Sky Cable which was first started in 1992 is a cable owned by ABS-CBN Corporation of the Lopez family.
