This comes after ABS-CBN Corporation and GMA Network signed a contract to seal It's Showtime's airing on GMA-7's main channel.
Present in the contract signing that has happened in Studio 7 of GMA Network's building is GMA Network Chairman Felipe Gozon, GMA President and CEO Gilberto Duavit Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, and Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and GMA Films President and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.
For ABS-CBN's part, present are ABS-CBN Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Broadcast Cory Vidanes and Chief Financial Officer Rick Tan.
Hosted by GMA-7's Iya Villania and ABS-CBN's Robi Domingo, the hosts of the Kapamilya noontime program are present led by Vice Ganda.
Kapamilya and Kapuso new gen singers also sang in the event to celebrate this milestone on Philippine Television.
In his speech, Katigbak expressed his gratitude to the GMA executives for welcoming them into the family, and praised the "It's Showtime" team and fans for their endless love and support.
Duavit reciprocated the warmth to the ABS-CBN executives and guests, acknowledging the happiness and joy that "It's Showtime" has brought to the Philippines for the past 15 years.
It's Showtime will air on GMA-7 starting April 6 (Saturday) from 12:00NN-2:30PM simulcast on GTV, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TFC, iWant TFC, GMA Pinoy TV and on ABS-CBN Entertainment, GMA and It's Showtime's online platforms.
