Starting July 28, Cartoon Network's spin-off channel BOOMERANG will become a pre-school animation channel named CARTOONITO.
This change resulted from positive feedback from viewers of the said pre-school animation block of Cartoon Network and Boomerang in several Southeast Asian countries including the Philippines. A pre-school makeover will happen starting this July 28 with the launch of the newest animation channel on Pay TV. Cartoonito's target audience is children aged 12 and under.
Along with the change is the launch of some new programs that you can watch on Cartoonito such as Batwheels and Bugs Bunny Builders. The line-up still includes well-loved cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Baby Looney Tunes and Dino Ranch.
Cartoonito will be available on Cignal TV and SatLite TV starting July 28. Cartoonito's livestream will also be available on the Cignal Play app.
